academe can be used by university students and teachers for creating and working with flashcards as well as for sharing them with their fellow students. academe has been designed in cooperation with universities and students. It is an optimized form of learning and retaining new information. By sharing with others, students can be saved from having to create their own sets of flashcards. academe enriches learning, teaching and campus life not only for students but also for individual faculties and the wider community. It enables teachers to engage more students in exciting new ways, reaching them on their terms and via their devices, and keeping students both informed and involved. The content is accessible independently of the students location. Constant improvement of the innovative technology helps to ensure a better education experience. We are looking forward to keeping abreast of the changing styles of learning.

ACADEME MAIN FEATURES:

INDIVIDUAL LEARNING:
-With academe each student and lecturer has the possibility to create new courses and to add cards. The courses can be kept private (status private/editing) for self-study. Students can set their own learning structure. Thanks to bookmarks they have quick access to the favorite courses. Additionally, students can add personal notes in order to build strong associations. Taking personal notes helps dramatically to increase memorization. The LEITNER method supports the transfer of new learned facts into the long-term memory and the multiple-choice self-test prepares for a real test situation.

COOPERATIVE LEARNING:
-Students can create new courses and cards together. This is an excellent way for exam preparation. Answering questions from fellow students can help in discovering misconceptions. What is more, students can safe time, since together the quantity of cards accumulates efficiently.
